Great funding

It looks like the time of senescence as, leaves are falling down the trees, animals get into hibernation, and plants disappear. In contrast, the European commission announced the work programme of Horizon 2020 of the remaining years 2018-2020. The c. 1000 pages of the programme encompass a high diversity of calls allocating 30 billion Euros to scientific institutions, companies, and other organisations. Are you prepared to apply for this great funding? If not, how do you become ready? You read it here.

Reproducible research: an international challenge

We see emerging a worldwide collaboration to guarantee the reproducibility of scientific studies, the research integrity. In addition, the European Commission is establishing more and more European research infrastructures to provide scientists the proper tools to conduct reproducible, high quality, research. New Website

Winter 2017. Skating out-of-doors. A magnificent feeling to pass the frozen canals and lakes looking around at the landscape. The wind around your head, the sun shining. And, all the other skaters around making it a real social event. It happened, fortunately, this winter in The Netherlands. We had a similar feeling renewing the old website and starting the new year. You will read more about the novel website and the annual report of 2016 in this Newsletter.

DRS proposals

Autumn 2016. The leaves on trees turn into a fascinating spectrum of colours. Brown, yellow, red. They also start to fall down onto the ground. It is like the results of proposals. These fall down in all kind of scores from the review committees onto the scientists. You may read here the results of some proposals DRS worked on.

Research Integrity

Consortium Management

Spring 2016. Here, you have the first Newsletter in English. You may feel it a bit strange as all customers of DRS are based in The Netherlands. We are, however, managing several European projects (see below), in which foreign parties are involved. In addition, many scientists in The Netherlands are non-native. So, we shall change our public relations more and more into English starting with this Newsletter. We hope you enjoy reading it in English as you did before in Dutch.
